On the Job Responsibilities

Employment: No guarantee is made as to days and hours of employment. Sabio Systems assigns jobs to its employees based on skill, experience and records of previous performance and may not have continual assignments for all employees. Contract employees are free to decline any opportunity presented without jeopardizing future assignments or employment with Sabio Systems.

Attendance & Punctuality: It is your sole responsibility to arrive to your assignment on time each day. As a responsible professional, inform both your reporting supervisor AND your Sabio Systems recruiter as soon as possible when you foresee being absent or late, but no later than 8:00am on the day of the absence. Failure to show up for an assignment without calling-in will be considered job abandonment and Sabio Systems will no longer be able to represent you. Absenteeism of 2 consecutive days or more will require a doctor’s note. Excessive absenteeism/tardiness will be considered 3 days or more during probationary period. Excessive absenteeism/tardiness will not be tolerated. Infractions to the attendance and punctuality policy are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Appearance: Dress appropriately; business professional is the best practice. Employees should exhibit a professional appearance which conveys business competence. Employees who are unsure of acceptability of certain attire should ask their direct supervisor. Unacceptable attire; leggings, clothing with holes/rips/stains, tank tops, flip flops, hoodies etc. Infractions to the appearance policy are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Job Duties: Notify Sabio Systems of changes in duty or job description while on assignment. If you are asked to do anything that is more or less than what was disclosed to you at the outset, notify your Sabio Systems recruiter immediately. If you have an issue related to your assignment, speak with your Sabio Systems recruiter first. In the event that an employee of Sabio Systems is not meeting the needs and requirements of the client it will be at the discretion of the client to decide disciplinary actions. Infractions to the job duties policy are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Electronic Usage: Texting and personal calls are not permitted except in cases of emergency, during breaks, lunches, and after hours. Employees are not permitted to use personal items that connect to computers, computer hardware or any other company owned electronic device such as but not limited to, chargers (phone, iPod, tablet, etc.), personal USB drives, etc. Access to networks, wifi, and other company databases remotely or from a personal device is not permitted unless explicitly in writing asked to do so by client or Sabio Systems per client. Personal use of email, phone systems, internet browsers or any other company database is not permitted. Infractions to the electronic usage policy are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Confidentiality: Keep client information confidential at all times. All data and information collected, produced or generated, and all reports, test results, plans, plans, models, documents and other written materials obtained through employment at a Sabio System’s Client will remain the sole property of the Client and not be removed, copied or reproduced in any way.

Property Misuse: Do not misuse or damage Sabio Systems or Client’s property, including but not limited to, using office telephones to make personal calls, sending and receiving personal emails/texts and violating the Sabio Systems’ and/or Client’s electronic usage policy. The unauthorized possession, including removal of Sabio Systems’ or clients’ property is prohibited. Infractions to the property misuse policy are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Timesheets: Timesheets must be submitted by the end of business day Monday for the prior week to receive a paycheck the following payday. If timesheets are not submitted by the deadline, Sabio Systems cannot guarantee you will be paid on time. Willful falsification of timesheets is prohibited and is subject to disciplinary actions up to and including termination.

Completion and Resignation: If you are not able to complete a job assignment for any reason, you must provide a minimum of 5 business days’ notice to Sabio Systems to remain in good standing. You will be considered “to have voluntarily quit” if you fail to contact Sabio Systems at the completion of an assignment or fail to contact Sabio Systems for future assignments.

DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE AND PRIVACY: reasonable suspicion exists that an employee is impaired in the performance of his/her job, the client may require the employee to submit to an appropriate screen for substance abuse. Information received by Sabio Systems client, including the drug-free workplace program, is confidential communication. Access to this information is limited to those who have a legitimate need to know in compliance with relevant laws and management policies.
